Welcome to my blog

I am new to blogging but very excited to be starting on this new adventure on the world wide web. I recently won a contest sponsored by Outrigger Hawaii and Conde' Nast for a wonderful 8 night dream vacation to Hawaii. To win this contest you had to compose an 8 night itinerary for your dream vacation, listing an Outrigger Hotel or Condo and activity for each day. I saw this contest as an opportunity to surprise my husband of 5 years with a dream anniversary gift. So in secret, I spent many late nights composing a dream Hawaiian vacation and writing it all in rhyme. I am so happy to report that I won the contest and we will be travelling to Hawaii next April. You can see my "Winning Essay" in the Archive Blogs. I will be providing a day to day narration of our dream vacation and hope that you enjoy seeing Hawaii through our eyes.
